An old woman drove her car into the ocean and nearly died, according to reports.

An elderly woman escaped almost certain death after an unknown group bravely jumped into the sea to save her after her car crashed into the water.

The local newspaper reported that 84-year-old Ursula Nixon lost control of her car, driving through two fences and driving her blue Nissan into the water. "It seemed to happen very quickly," said

Michael Wells, one member of the rescue team, according to the newspaper. "I saw her go over the edge and then splashed water."

Katie Nelson was the first in the water, climbing on top of the vehicle and then climbing through the rear window of the car to pull Nixon to safety. "I just remember pulling myself up and looking at her and there was water all in the front of the car and she was in the front seat," Nelson told the news media. "I said, 'Hi, I'm Katie, and she's like,' I do not want to die here, I'll drown. And I'm like, 'No, no, you're not. You'll grab my hand and we're going out."

An autopsy is planned before the official cause of death is announced but there is some speculation. A spokeswoman for the Fulton County police said:
"It appears that [Kelly's death] may have been a possible drug overdose."
Kelly and fellow rapper Chris Smith shot to super-stardom with the release of their 1992 hit "Jump." Their big gimmick was wearing their clothes backwards.
Back in February, Kris Kross reunited for a long-overdue performance.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kelly's family at this time.

Boko haram give a peace chance

Northern Governors: "Boko Haram, Give Peace a Chance!"

Babangida Aliyu, Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Niger State, said Friday the renewed violence, which hit parts of Borno and Yobe States on Thursday, "negated all efforts to restore peace to the region".
In Abuja, via the statement signed by Mr. Aliyu's spokesperson, Danladi Ndayebo, the Forum expressed serious concern at the fresh wave of attacks which left policemen dead and buildings destroyed in Bama in Borno State and Gashua in Yobe State.
The Forum described the deaths of the policemen as "a great national loss", calling the deceased "heroes who died in the course of service to their fatherland". The participants prayed to God to grant repose to their souls and give their families and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
The statement urged the military, the police and other security agencies not to be discouraged by the dastardly act, adding that "Nigeria would forever remain grateful to security agencies for the successes recorded so far in the war against terror".
The forum reiterated its commitment to continue to work closely with the federal government in finding a lasting solution to the security challenges confronting the nation.

SACRILEGE! Worshiper Gives Used Condom As Offering In Church

To most Christians, the offering time is, indeed, a time of immense financial blessing. But recently, the offering time turned into a moment of hot curses in a Lagos church when an already used condom, dripping with semen, was discovered inside the offering box after the Sunday service.
It was like a weird dream, according to the former Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Ogba Zone, Prophet Tobi Okonkwo, who witnessed the incident. The cleric said he couldn’t believe his eyes when a discarded condom, with stains, was discovered in an envelope in the offertory box of his former church.
When Pope Paul VI warned on June 29, 1972 that the smoke of Satan had entered the church, not many Christians took the warning seriously.

A Raleigh woman and her husband were allegedly stabbed by the best man in their wedding, Jonathan Wayne Broyhill.

Police say Jameson “Jamie” Kirk Hahn, 29 and Nation Hahn, 27, were attacked with a knife by Broyhill at their North Raleigh home, North Carolina on Monday night. According to reports, he then turned the knife on himself. Shortly before 2 AM on Wednesday, Jamie passed away while in intensive care.
“Jamie lost her struggle to live this morning,” her family said in statement. “We lost a beautiful and loving wife, daughter and friend. We all lost a pure and brave spirit.”
